Factors affecting India's economic system before independence?

India is a populous country so in the economic field there are several factors which influence the economic system of the country which are discussed below.
1. Impact of agriculture sector
As India is an agricultural major country the economic system of the country also depends on it
Therefore, the agricultural sector needs to be developed. But since independence it did not develop, its condition was very obvious. Which directly affected the Indian economic system.
2. Industrial sector
As there was no development in the industrial sector, the condition of the workers employed here was very miserable. Which affected the economic system of the country. Things were not produced in any new way.
3. Population growth
Population growth also slowed down Indian economic development. Because of the increase in population and their standard of living, it also affected them.
4. Low per capita income
The income of each person in a country is called per capita income. But if the per capita income of this person decreases, the national income of the country decreases. Which affects the economic development of the country.
5. Higher death and birth rates
Death rate and birth rate is another factor that weakens the economic system of the country
6. Low standard of living
