 Discuss the elements of a nation

The term nation was first used by Nicole Machiavelli in an abstract sense

The Greeks used the word nation as the word polis Similarly the Romans used civitas Later, the Teutons used it as stastus, the word nation The word state is derived from the word status Which means impermanence or existence Tang is often referred to as the father of modern political science, as Nikol Machiavelli coined the term nation for the first time

Elements of a nation:-

1. Population

2. Land

3. Govt

4. Sovereignty

Population

Population is an integral part of a nation A nation without population has no stability. A nation cannot be conceived without population

Population is the basis of a nation The main task of the nation is always to fulfill the expectations and aspirations of the population

Land

A nation cannot be conceived without land as population is necessary for a nation Bhukhand means mainly sky path and water path and land path Every nation needs land So if we ignore Bukhand, we can never form a nation

Govt

The most important integral element is the government because through the government the nation fulfills all the standard expectations of its citizens. Here the nation works permanently while on the other hand the government reduces it temporarily. Even though the nation has all the elements, if there is no government element then there will be anarchy in the nation which will no longer be called a nation

Sovereignty

Sovereignty refers to the total power that a nation has

A nation without absolute power cannot protect its own city

Therefore, each nation must have all the power to protect itself from foreign aggression
